A Heartfelt Thank You and Our Final Shows

Dear Vox Pop Family,

Erin and I have been on an incredible journey with Vox Pop for the past eight years. It’s hard to believe that we’ve hosted 68 shows, welcomed thousands of guests into our home, and created lasting memories through the magic of music and community. Each performance has been a testament to the power of hospitality and connection, and we are deeply grateful for every one of you who has joined us along the way.

Today, we write with a mix of gratitude and bittersweet reflection. After much thought and consideration, we have decided to suspend operations of Vox Pop. With the recent addition of two foster children to our family, our focus must shift to nurturing them and providing a stable and loving environment.

Before we close this chapter, we want to invite you to join us for our final two shows:

February 15

Featuring local artist Micah Felts and Ruben Octavio (Austin, TX)

March 7

Featuring Mama Said String Band (Louisville, KY) and local band Studio House

These performances will not only celebrate the vibrant community we’ve built together but also serve as a heartfelt farewell to an experience that has profoundly shaped our lives. We hope you can join us for one or both of these special evenings.

Thank you for being a part of our journey, for sharing meals, laughter, and incredible music in our living room. Your support has meant the world to us, and we look forward to seeing familiar faces one last time.

With love and gratitude,

Chris & Erin
