Event Night Information
Our shows are in a small space and typically in a private home. To ensure an enjoyable, comfortable experience for all visitors, artists, and our hosts, please keep the below rules in mind:
This is an intimate space; please limit distracting noise (walking, talking, opening cans, etc.) to in-between songs. If you need a break from the quiet for a bit, please step out the back door.
This is a safe space; please do not bring weapons of any kind.
This is a unique space; please be present and keep videoing and recording to a minimum. We always have team members documenting the night with quality equipment.
House Rules
Here’s how a typical night at Vox Pop goes. We will provide event-specific information to ticket purchasers the week of the show.
7pm: Doors open and social hour begins
The first hour after doors open typically consists of a potluck based on a theme set by our hosts. Show up when you’re able, meet some new people from your community, and eat some good food. This is also the time to “stake out” your seats. They’re all first come, first served...the couches are always claimed early!
7:45-8pm: Community speaker
Towards the end of the social hour, we typically have members of the greater Tulsa community discuss things going on in the city/community including time for questions.
8-8:30pm: Opening act
The opening artist performs.
8:30-8:45pm: Intermission and stage adjustment
The perfect time to refresh your drink, use the restroom, or buy some merch!
8:45-10pm: Closing act
The closing artist performs.
